While the e-mail looked a bit shoddy, I believed it (after confirming on here that I had indeed entered their comp) until I looked at the web page to check bundle details and saw the winner's name.

Beauty Base Hi Amy we are in the process of sending out an email to all entrants to apologise. Posting on Facebook and social media allows us to alert people to this much quicker.
