Hi.
I have just been on Noodle to check my credit score.
I have just noticed a default on there that I vaguely remember. It was dated 07/12/2010 which means its almost been 6 years.
Does that mean that on the 7th of December this year, that will be removed off my Noodle account and all other credit reference agencies?
Cheers Dave :j

You have to allow a month or so for admin etc. Keep an eye on it. They can take you to court any time up to 7th Decembermake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Thank you for the confirmation McKneff0

Hi eportdave
Strictly speaking, the deadline for any court action may have lapsed before 7th December - in fact it may have lapsed already by now. The "cause of action" is when the six-year limit for court action on most kinds of debt begins, and this will usually precede the date of default that appears on your credit file.
At any rate, it is wise to keep your eyes peeled for any correspondence or court forms before then and seek advice if anything turns up.
