The road is along side the car park. I saw his mistake and ran to the car whereby he stopped. I got in the car, turned it around and drove out of the road. The car was in the road for no longer than 1 minute. The account was passed to bw legal by Vehicle Control Services Ltd.0

The charge was entering a prohibited road. I can't remember much else as I no longer have the paper work, thinking the issue was done and dusted. They sent a photograph or my car showing the number plate but little else was visible in the picture.0

VCS ??? explains why BWLegal are involved.
These two companies sleep together.

I think best wait until someone else comes along who knows the situation and signs at the airport0 -
I didn't appeal, not having any confidence in the appeals process. I replied directly to the PCN issuer.0

There's no prospect of this ever going before a court. LJLA is a cash cow for VCS and there's no way they are going to risk having this put before a judge as they tread on very thin ice at LJLA. So don't lose sleep that you'll be the very first court case of the hundreds and hundreds currently being pursued by BWL.
And if you are, there is a pledged fighting fund over on PePiPoo to have legal representation for the first ever LJLA court case.
Do some searches on this forum and over on PePiPoo for 'VCS BWL LJLA' and read other threads initiated by those in the same position as you. They will provide you with the advice you need to keep BWL under some form of your control.
Over on PePiPoo search out the epic thread by 'hexaflexagon' who has really gone to town on VCS, LJLA and Liverpool Council.
Make sure you keep the correspondence ping-pong going with BWL as ignorers may well be the ones they might decide to try to obtain a default judgment against (but bear in mind what I said about the unlikeliness of a LJLA case going anywhere near a judge). Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You MUST read lots of other BW Legal threads on here and I do suggest you must respond. See other BW Legal threads galore, for examples!delmansax1 wrote: »I didn't appeal, not having any confidence in the appeals process. I replied directly to the PCN issuer.
Do not say who was driving - OR did you give away the driver in an earlier appeal?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-mad. Sorry I didn't reply to your question on this thread when last posting, I didn't notice it. I and I'm sure everyone on the forum do appreciate the advice you and the others give. In answer to your question I did say who was driving at the time of the contravention.0

Is there any way you can show which 'prohibited' road your son drove into.
They will be chasing you for forming a contract with them as claimed in their 'numerous signs'. So it will depend on what the sign was claiming as a contract. The majority of their signs are for no stopping and claim £100 if you do so. I can see no mention of 'Entering a Prohibitive road'. So, unless its mentioned on the sign, I can't see how they could use it to form a contract.
Have a look on google street maps covering the airport to work out where the alleged contravention took place. Also, look for the signs covering this road to see what they say, although they may have been changed in the last 4 years.0
