Hi Black eye liner. I also live in Edinburgh and had heard rumours that Primark was supposed to be opening in Princes Street. I also believe Edinburgh is long overdue a store. I think Primark is FAB0

Do you notice any empty shops on Princes Street at the moment (apart from the slightly singed one) and have you noticed what is happening with the M&S consolidation.Black_Eyeliner wrote: »This news article is dated 01 Dec 06. To date, there has been no Primark opened in Edinburgh, and the M&S ladies' wear store at 91 Princes St is still open for business.
It looks as if it will be a couple of months before there's ANY free space on Princes Street or do you think Primark should build on Princes Street Gardens?0 -

Another generic High Street store on a large city's main street, meaning nowhere knows where they are anymore, because everywhere could be anywhere, anywhere is everywhere.
Just what Edinburgh needs.Russia is HERE0 -

while I agree about generic High Streets, I think Edinburgh is definitely an exception to the rule that you can't tell one city from another
Edinburgh's such a wonderful, beautiful city & Princes Street so totally unique, that it'd take more than one modern store replacing another to rob it of it's character0 -
can i just say ....the liverpool one is amazing!! 5 floors! and crowd control barriers still enforced (due to the number of people, not the recklessness!)!!
