In the road where I used to live were also the homes of several local tradesmen of good reputation - a plumber, a bathroom renovator, an electrician, a carpenter, a small works builder. I asked them who they had used to install their double glazing. Without fail they all came up with the same name.
I used him on my home there and was so pleased, that three years later, I used him again on this property.
My suggestion is that local tradespeople get to know who-is-doing-what and to what standard. No higher nor more genuine recommendation than when their own homes get done by a particular person. (Funnily enough, not one of them had a good word to say about the Nationals!)0 -
please, please, please do not use Safestyle UK, they are absolutely rubbish rip off merchants. If you ring your local trading standards office, they have a list of approved tradesmen in you area and can give you the names of them. Hope this helps.0
