Help with financing university

Hi, I am hoping to go to university next year at Queens in Belfast. Basically, I am wondering how funding works. My parents earn a reasonable amount but won't be paying my tuition fees or rent etc so what do I need to do? I will probably have to move into the student halls but how do I finance everything? I am definately going to get a part-time job to assist but can I get a living grant and how much money can I get in a student loan? Any help would be much appreciated, I just want to know what all the expenses are, how they can be covered and when they have to be paid. Thanks in advance!

student loans cover living costs, are your parents paying youre fees or is your local authority? As for managing the loan as it does not last long have a look around in the local pubs and restaurants ansd try and get a part time job, as im sure the money will come in useful.:)0
