Cahoot in harvest mode?

I'm a Cahoot current account and savings account holder.
I've always loved their service, user interface and interest rates, but recently I've noticed a change.
It is like they are in harvest mode (i.e. not trying to get any new customers and trying to get rid of the ones they have).
They have stopped accepting new customers for their credit cards (very strange for a bank!), they no longer offer any loans, their current account and savings accounts no longer offer competitive rates.
It's almost as though abbey want to close the Cahoot brand.
Anyone know what is really going on?
