WTC & CTC - help needed
Misstky
Hi,
Bit of a newbie after stalking, but couldn't find anything similar for an answer.
I updated TC with my new circumstances (childcare, annual income, additions working hours) on the 26.9.16
Actual changes took effect 19.9.16.
On the phone I gave all new information requested, income, hours, weekly childcare costs.
My income had increased, hours increased and childcare costs increased.
The guy on the phone said the childcare needed to be checked and usually takes two weeks, in that time they would either leave childcare details as they were, or remove them.
Obviously this doesn't help me budget (childcare payment wise)
I received my usual payment amount as normal, then two days later, a payment for around £70 less than usual.
I understand when you change details it sometimes fires a random amount out - but what I'm wondering is, if that amount will reflect what I will be paid until they sort my childcare?
Also, how long the process usually takes etc?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to all this.
Thanks in advance!!

Only they can tell you about your payments and how long it takes as it depends on current timescales.0

If you go on tax credits manage your payments you can log in and see your scheduled payments. or you could use their online chat to see if any decisions have been made0
