Villeroy & Boch is the organiser of the Christmas competition. All the participants who correctly answer the competition question will be entered into a draw between 01.10.2016 and 31.10.2016 to win the following prizes:

One of two weekend trips for two people in Strasbourg on the second weekend of Advent (3.-4.12.2016). Includes accommodation with breakfast at Hotel Gutenberg and travel (by train, second class) to Strasbourg.

§ 1 Participants

All persons aged 18 years or over and resident in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Great Britain, Spain and Italy are eligible to take part. Employees of Villeroy & Boch AG and their relatives are excluded from participating. Each participant may only enter the competition once. To participate in the campaign, it is essential that all personal data provided are true. If not, this may result in exclusion from the competition. The participant him- or herself is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Participation itself is free of charge and independent of any purchase of goods or services. The prize draw will begin on 01.10.2016 and ends at 12:00 midnight CET on 31.10.2016.

§ 2 Implementation and processing

To take part in the competition, entrants must answer the competition question and then complete the entry form correctly and in full and send it to Villeroy & Boch. By clicking on the [Send] button, you accept these Terms and Conditions of Participation and confirm that you meet all requirements for participation. The two winners will be drawn at random from all entrants who have answered the competition question correctly. The winners will be announced in November 2016. The winners will receive a trip for two people to Strasbourg) (second weekend of Advent, 3.-4.12.2016), including travel to and from Strasbourg by train in second class, accommodation with breakfast at Hotel Gutenberg in Strasbourg as well as a Strasbourg Pass (book of vouchers to visit local attractions) as well as a Villeroy & Boch voucher worth €100 (this can only be redeemed at House of Villeroy & Boch stores and Factory Outlet Centres in France). The winners will be notified by Villeroy & Boch by email, using the email address they provided, and will be requested to supply their full postal address to enable the organisation of the prize. If a winner does not respond within one week of the email notification being sent, or if a winner does not or does not fully supply the postal address, he or she shall lose any claim to the prize. The corresponding prize will then be drawn again according to the principle described. Prizes will be delivered only within the countries listed in §1 paragraph 1. The name and country of the winner will be available on request.

§ 3

Participants hereby agree that if they should win the prize draw, their name and place of residence will be published on the Villeroy & Boch website and on the Villeroy & Boch Facebook fan page. Participants also agree, in the event of winning the prize, to allow Villeroy & Boch to take a photo of the winner redeeming the Villeroy & Boch voucher and for this photo to then be published on the Villeroy & Boch website as well as on Villeroy & Boch’s social media channels.

§ 4 Early termination and modification of the competition

Villeroy & Boch reserves the right to terminate or modify the competition at any time without prior notice if the proper implementation of the game can no longer be guaranteed due to technical or other reasons or if the fairness of the game appears to be adversely affected. There is no right of appeal for participants in such cases.

§ 5 Data protection

To take part in the competition, the participant is required to provide the personal data requested during the registration step. Villeroy & Boch will collect, process and use the data provided by the participant for the purpose of implementing the competition. The data provided by the winners shall be transmitted for the purpose of organising the weekend of Advent in Strasbourg to Paffrath Event s GmbH & Co. KG, Am Sandbach 5, 40878 Ratingen, Germany. Participants may withdraw their consent at any time with effect for the future by notifying Villeroy & Boch AG, Saaruferstraße 1-3, 66693 Mettlach, Germany.

§ 6 Final provisions

German law applies to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Unaffected by this are mandatory provisions of the country in which the consumer has his or her habitual residence. No cash payment of the prize or any other substitute for the prize is possible. Entitlement to the prize is non-transferable. The judges’ decisions are final.
