I got on but you are right that they don't give you much word count. I can't even fit the stuff that Edna Basher wrote. Is it ok to just put it in an email with a cover note? Do I just leave the track appeal section or do I write something here just to make sure they have my rebuttal even if its only part of it? Why they have to have such a small word count is beyond me.
  • You're right about the ridiculously small word count allowed on POPLA's portal.

I suggest that you submit a short note via the portal explaining that it is impossible to condense your rebuttal into the 2,000 characters allowed and you have therefore had to send it by email instead.
  • Thank you, this is all now done. Now just a waiting game to hear their final decision.
  • Have POPLA confirmed that they have added your rebuttal to your case file?

If not, keep nagging them until they do.

    Happy new year everyone!

I received a decision today and I have been successful! They allowed the appeal on the grace periods point and didn't assess any of the other points of appeal. Thank you so much to everyone that helped to win this case, it has made a great start to my year!

Is it helpful to post the decision on a decisions thread? I don't know what is helpful to post
