Hi all

So, I recalled having ppi on an old 2000 ish American Express credit card but didn't have any records including the account number.

Back in early august I sent them a completed FOS questionnaire which they simply returned saying they could find no details and if I could give them an account number.

I then sent a subject access request in and a couple of weeks ago received a large pack of information including statements showing the account number and ppi payments along with a cover sheet showing the total of ppi payments and the period charged ( 2 1/2 years).

Last week I resent the original fos questionnaire but added the card account number.

Today I get a letter saying there was no ppi on that closed account and I need to supply evidence.

So today I have replied by sending them copies of the evidence they supplied me!

Very strange behaviour from a regulated business

Let's see how they now react with the copies of the evidence they already sent me themselves!

Any thoughts ?

Thanks
RICHARD
