Thread title is misleading - this was just one airport, the response could have been different at another Canadian airport.

Which UK airport provides a facility to forward on goods that have been confiscated at security?

My employer has rules on how opinions are expressed on the Internet therefore professionally I should not reveal the location of where I work

What I will show you however is Calgary Airports website which is the one which the op refers to.

    http://www.yyc.com/en-us/calgaryinternationalairport(yyc).aspx

I'll leave it to you to find on there the service which says they provide a facility to forwards on goods that have been confiscated at security! (I cannot see it) I'm not doubting the op but if ThumbRemote wants something in writing then even Calgary Airport cannot provide this.

I forgot I had a penknife in my pocket at Gatwick a while back and was offered the opportunity to go back to a shop and get an envelope and it was posted to me. I've done the same thing with toiletries and haven't been given the option but there's certainly been no rudeness.

    Interesting comments from people.

To bring a closure to this thread the knife turned up in the post (air mailed) a week ago.

And if people want I can scan and post the duplicate of the form I filled in when asking for the goods to be shipped. It would appear to be a facility provided by UPS in conjunction with Calgary airport. Whether it is available at other Canadian airports I don't know.
