When will my BACS payment come through?

Hi all,
So I started my new job recently and get paid every Friday (weekly). Received my first payslip on 28/09/16 where it stated my pay date is 30/09/16 (Friday). Been checking my bank account & nothing has come through yet.
The payslip says that the pay method is BACS so will my pay come 2-3 (working) days after the pay date? Or should my pay have arrived on the stated pay date?
Starting to think my employer has entered in my bank details wrong. I'm with RBS if it helps my query at all.
Many thanks!

I would expect the pay to be in your account on the pay date - payment by BACS takes 3 working days, so if it was generated on the date the payslip was created, the 28th, then it should be with you on the 30th. I suspect you may be right about your employer having made an error, so get onto payroll first thing on Monday.0

Yup it should be available in your bank account to spend on the day it's due. However I suspect that the payment is not yet processed on the employer's system. If the next payment is late then you may possibly have a complaint. Also check for time in hand: Are you actually due a payment on the due date or do you get a payment for the past week(s).0

Is there a cut-off time for BACS payments (ie a payment sent after a particular time on a Wednesday wouldn't be credited until the following Monday)?0

Had an issue during the natwest system meltdown and the payroll dept sent a same day faster payment to fix it for me.
Might be an option here too??This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I think I'll phone up my employer on Monday to double check my bank details are correct!0
