Just visited Colchester's 1st Lidl store and noticed that Lidl appear to be managing the carpark themselves (for now).
The signs are designed with a mid-grey background and white lettering and are not full of empty threats, but simply inform the user that they can park for free for 2.5 hours.
There are no threats to charge you £75 if you stay to long either.
Makes a change from Aldi who use PE to manage their car parks.
So, It's hats off to Lidl for putting the customer first for once.

Never Knowingly Understood.

Give it a few weeks before Athena move in with the manager of that Lidl stores stating that some non-customers were overstaying preventing genuine customers from being able to park.0
