My tennancy began on the 30th of the month and my landlady said she wants to give me notice.
Does this mean that it had to be served by today to be considered valid by being 2 whole months??
I called the letting agent today and they said it should be served to me via email so I confirmed that they had the right email address and they said by close of business today.
I've still not had an email with notice.
They have however emailed me to say they are having work on their phone lines next week so I won't be able to call on certain days/ times
Does this mean they will have to serve it for 30th October and I will have 2 months from that date

Depends on the answers to my Qs above.My tennancy began on the 30th of the month and my landlady said she wants to give me notice.

depends on your tenancy agreement.
* fixed term? Dates?
* SPT?
* CPT?
I called the letting agent today
Why? You want to speeed and help the process along?
and they said it should be served to me via email so I confirmed that they had the right email address and they said by close of business today.
Again? Why are you making it easier? The tenancy agreement probobly requires service by post, but you have now agreed to email. Bizarre decision.
I've still not had an email with notice.
Lucky you.
They have however emailed me to say they are having work on their phone lines next week so I won't be able to call on certain days/ times
don't see the relevance. If you need to, phone. If you don't need to, keep schtum!
Does this mean they will have to serve it for 30th October and I will have 2 months from that date
