We stayed at the Savoy hotel... They had lots of family rooms. Two double beds and bunk beds aswell. They are right opposite the tram stop aswell.Learning to live a more frugal lifestyle with my family :beer:0

hi there,
try the pine lodge hotel, literally 5 mins walk from all the central attractions, on havelock street, just across from bonny st market.
the phone number is 01253 299314. it's really a lovely place. their family rooms are lovely, nice and clean, double bed and bunk beds with lovely en suite shower room/toilet. great priced, lovely breakfast, and friendly family run. ideal. if you need any further info, don't hesitate to message me!:j Coupon Queen:jSaved £3880 since Feb 05 stopping nicotine!!!Spent £3880 on shoes & bags since Feb 05!!!!0 -

Hi
Thanks for the original recommendation.
We've decided on a last minute spur of the moment visit to Blackpool over half-term to see the illuminations.
I've tried a couple of places and they were fully booked but searched on here, discovered this thread and have now booked!
The lady on the phone seemed really friendly and helpful and the room seems reasonably priced for this time of the year at Blackpool. (£65 for the whole family - just one night though.)
I will let you know how we get on!

Hey,
Possibly one of the best family hotels in Blackpool would have to be the Pleasure Beach's own hotel; The Big Blue Hotel. My Manager recentley stayed here and said it was fantastic and is deffinately well equiped for families.
Big Blue Hotel
It isn't the cheapest but is one of the best!
