Is there a way of merging gmail and outlook calendars?

On my android phone I have a gmail account setup (which other than for access to play store, I don't use.) I have an exchange based email account which my calendar is linked to. Works find on android, get notifications etc.

I have an amazon echo but this will only 'see' a gmail calendar.
Is there any way of either automatically duplicating events from my exchange calendar to gmail, or having gmail import automatically?

If you find that one's not right for you, there is another alternative.

Google 'gsyncit' - it's paid for software, but I've used it for a few years now and it's rock-solid.

My Exchange calendar automatically syncs to my Gmail one without me needing to do anything, so I'm not sure why yours doesn't. Although it doesn't work the other way.
