Slow mortgage broker rant

To be quite honest, it does seem a little unprofessional that the documentation wasn't requested prior to giving you the "green light" but in the grand scheme of things, I'm sure everything will be okay.Do we know what they're waiting for? Apparently our chain is slightly complete, at the beginning we was holding up everyone then it turns out we are the only ones to do everything and 'be ready' bizzar!!!
Sorry to hijack thread OP.
Ours is pretty stagnant at the moment anyway due to sellers being unable to allow valuation until next Monday. We are selling and buying...supposedly the two other solicitors are holding things up... :rotfl:
I think we have raised some queries with the sellers and are waiting for responses. We have queried whether the buyers are raising any queries...and are waiting for their responses.
So basically...lots of queries going on.
I think lots of solicitors may use these little [STRIKE]excuses[/STRIKE] reasons, to just keep us plodding happily along. Maybe there are a few things that need to be chased but unless they tell you something is going disastrously wrong, then I wouldn't be too concerned.0
