Problem with solid wood floor - water damage

We have a solid wood floor in our kitchen / living room that was laid about 4 years ago. We've recently had a leak from the piping under the sink (that we've now stopped) which has seeped underneath the floor and caused it to lift and bow in sections.
We had a builder round who suggested that it will retract as it dries out, do you think this is possible? Or is it possible to relay the current floor once it's dried?
We had no leftover wood and the company no longer make it. We bought it from Selco who also don't stock it any more.......
Thanks

It may dry warped. If it does, you don't have much chance of relaying it.
You'll have to wait and see, but it's probably new floor time. Will your contents insurance cover it?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Where is it bowing? At the joins? A skilled installer might be able to recover it...0
