The civics have a plastic undertray where all the water and salt of the road collects and rusts. Seen this on a2009 type r . Shocking0

Pictures are no good. Loads of cars are brown and rusted underneath yet use a corrosion assessment hammer as per mot and it's still solid.
If defended smartly I don't think you have an easy win. Although it sounds like the dealer isn't that smart and digging his own grave.0 -

Hammer... I poked my finger though the break guard when the garage shown me
Here are some images from my phone, not great, the garages pictures are better but I don't have them to hand.
Im currently on the phone to the bank trying to get this chargeback re-opened, it only fell flat due to returning the goods, as I returned the key, log book and provided the locate of the garage and collection details I think this deems as a return.
EDIT, it wont let me post links
if someone wants to PM me I can provide links for them to post
The defendant is saying all kinds of things in his defence, he even states that I haven't told him the location of the car (I have, on a few documented occasions) and that I have been mistreating it and causing damage since its been in my ownership (its been parked a the garage since a few days after purchase and I have no access to it)
Cheers

I hope the dealer is saying all of these things in writing/email as this will work in your favour at court. If he doesn't then reply to him by email stating what he claimed and see if you can get a written response."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
I hope the "garage" wasnt kwikfault and the rusty brake guard installed their opinion that your car is unsafe to drive.0

But a rusty brake guard could come away if hit by a stone, fly back and puncture the tyres of the minibus full of convent school girls on their way to a kitten festival, forcing it to swerve through the boundary fence of Heathrow straight into the path of a landing 747 filled with children.
Coyld you live with yourself if that happened, Sir? As for your shock absorbers......0 -

If you mean the plate behind the disc then this isn't a fail anyway. Doesn't make a car unroadworthy.
Doesn't really matter anyway as if the dealers defence is as you say it is then he doesn't have much prospect of winning0 -
I always wondered what happened to the cars they drive along the beach in salty water for the adds!0
