Laptop keeps freezing after w10 anniversary update

I have a Toshiba Satelite Laptop bought new just before Windows 10 was launched, it was a little temperamental for a while when I updated to Windows 10 but was then fine, however, last week my laptop automatically downloaded the anniversary update, since then the laptop keeps freezing, I've ran Malwarebytes and there is nothing untoward coming up in the results. Any ideas? Anyone else having similar issues?
I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world

It has been reported on this forum in this sub-forum quite a few times. Try searching the forum, otherwise ask Auntie Google and you will find several reports from August with suggested fixes.0
