Opie Oils - Praise

Recently bought a number of service items (including a fuel filter) for my Lexus LS400 from Opie Oils.
Firstly check for discounts, they normally offer at least 10% off. Items took a couple of days for delivery, all fine there too.
When taking the items to the garage, I was told the fuel filter didn't fit (sadly the garage looked like it had tried a bit too hard, and the item was badly scratched)
Called Opie Oils, really only to advise the above, but having damaged it, knew I wasn't necessarily entitled to a refund. They were still positive the item should have fitted, and I wouldn't rule out "user error" when trying to fit it.
However, full refund given, no quibble and didn't need to return. Just a simple phone call, and all sorted.
That's next years purchases pretty much sorted now.

Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?

It's good that you got a refund so easily. Not so sure about next year, if you buy the same items are you going to take them to a different garage to be fitted?0

I think so yes. The LS400 for all it's reliability, is quite a complex vehicle to service correctly.
I won't be buying a fuel pump next time, the garage did actually put one of their own in, although it could be much more expensive next time as its due a cambelt changeRemember the time he ate my goldfish?
