passport renewal query

Hi
I am travelling to tenerife in 5 weeks time, my passport will have just under 6 months left on it when i return
Do I need to renew before I go, have read that some countries insist you have at least 6 months left on your passport when returning from another country

You don't have to renew it, but the prices are going up again on the 4th October, so you'll save money if you renew it now, rather than waiting till you get back.When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0

If you want to renew now you will be able to get the unexpired time added to your new passport.0
