Overdraft proffered affect can cause an issue

Options
Hi, Barlays had offered me a overdraft of 1500,the thing is I don't need it, but I am thinking will that be a good sign for any lender in the future?

I guess shows that my bank tryst me, but my concern is will affect my credit rating in the short term?

Thanks,

  • It would be seen as positive by lenders.

But ignore your credit rating. Lenders will make their own minds up.

You have an overdraft but it doesnt mean its some extra cash, if you have to use it then use it wisely but only use it short for a short period otherwise it could cost you.
