Well I mostly use internet banking anyway that I end up checking everyday. This was my First Direct account in which I do class as my main bank account, but all I have done for the past month is transfer to another account and to a few savings accounts, so I did check through, recognised the few that I'd done and don't really think I'd have to refer back to it for issues. Although if I do then I do have my internet banking statements and I can order new ones if need be.
I just don't like things like that lying around in my house for personal reasons0 -
I think it is unlikely that a logbook will be accaptable as proof.
Hwever, as tacpot12 says, you could provide passport as proof of ID and driving licenceas roof of address.
Ot if you have time to pop to your bank they might be able to print off a duplicate bank statement for you.
I didn't bother taking my log book with me, after all, it did seem a little daft. But they did use my passport for ID and my driving licence for proof of address. My national insurance letter also had my address on as well and the interview and registration all went really well and I start in just over a month :beer:0
