hi on the back of my hb claim of this year it says the way we worked out your hb the law says you have to live on is xxxx (mine is 197 per week and that is for two adults and two kids) your rent is xxxx mine was 600 per month your income is xxxx per week
the amount of hb you are entillted to is 138 per weekas i was only getting ssp of 70 per week i was getting less than the law said i needed to get so i got full hb if i got more than the 197 per week my hb would of been less this is how they work out your hb if you work for local authoirty ask your hb team how they work out what people are entillted to if they dont work it like my councill there should still be a set limit or how eles can they work out hb

mot should of recived help from the socail loans and grants regard depoist i know many people who they have helped with this they can be a bit slow what reason did they turn her down for they usally only turn you down if they think that you dont need the money or you still owe them money which mot dose need the money so i would re apply
Re: Crisis Loan - my application wasn't as a result of a risk to health and safety so they said, and the Community Care Grant - I wasn't on the right benefits:confused:

Heard from solicitor just before I left for Chiro's - appeal date is 3rd Jan AND so is the eviction date - how the hell is that going to work?? I'm now all down again as I just can't imagine how, if the appeal fails, I a) I can move out the same day b) how will the twins cope with all that in one day c) how will I find somewhere private when a lot of private lettings places are closed or if they are open then I have had an invite from a friend to 'get away from it all' for a few days to hers d) oh I can't remember .........mind not thinking straight again!

thats awful!!! It concerns me that they are still fixing a date for the eviction, it is almost asthough they are treating it as carte blanche that you are going to be evicted. all i'd say is if the worst does come to the worst (and with the support you are receiving it had better blooming not do!) then you can't reasonably be expected to deal with all that in one day, so refuse to hoof it until the next day. Big hugs hon, hope it goes well later. xxx

Here's another hot story of Dacorum derring-do:
    http://www.hemeltoday.co.uk/news/Council-identifies-toxic-sites-.3576846.jp
    y Jonathan Matfin

DEADLY toxins including arsenic may have contaminated hundreds of sites across Dacorum.
And the council says it cannot release a list of the potentially polluted plots because it could affect property prices.

According to Dacorum Borough Council, about 750 parcels of land in the borough may have been contaminated by pollution from old factories, chemical plants, quarries, paper mills and oil storage.

At least some of the sites are now residential, and the council says it is not prepared to name them until further investigations are completed – a move aimed at preventing panic and a negative impact on house prices.

The discovery of toxic land came at a council meeting in Hemel Hempstead last week.

At the meeting last Tuesday, head of public protection John Clarke said: "750 (sites] is an ongoing number.

"This is indeed a rolling programme – we are gaining information from various sources and bringing the whole thing together."

The council first started searching for potentially contaminated sites in 2002 after new Government laws on land pollution were introduced.

Mr Clarke said: "The definition of contamination is very general.

"It is based on what harm there could be to the environment or human health."

Examples of potential contaminants given at the meeting include old arsenic and hydrocarbons.

While the council refuses to name its 'sites of potential concern' until they have been investigated further, it is understood only a handful will be dealt with each year.

A spokesman for the council said many more of the sites are expected to be cleaned up and converted each year by property developers.

According to the council, about 50 contaminated sites across the borough have been transformed by developers since 2002.

The cleaned-up sites include a housing estate in Ravens Lane, Berkhamsted which was built on land which had been polluted by arsenic from an old sheep dip factory.

I'm sure you'd look very sweet in a frothy red number, slashed down to the navel & up to the thigh... especially with feathers in your hair too.....:D

I am posting that bit of info from this morning about the hearing and eviction being on the same day on the hempel web page now.

I cannot believe that I go to bed early and the four more pages are created:A Honey you have so much support try not to let the strain get too much for you "We all have broad enough shoulders to lighten the load for you":p
As for Adam, well Adam my little darling I showed your photo to my OH and he was so taken aback his exact words were "OMG he is the spitting image of our DS at that age except DS was blonde"Now DS was bullied because of his weight, because his Mum was ill, because his cousin lived with us, because his granparents had died. In fact any little thing that got a reaction. :D At first he got upset, then he got mad then he ignored.:j The particular "child" involved in the bullying has been in trouble with the authoritys countless times and has even been a guest of "Her Majestys Bed and Board Scheme" And his parents still walk around with there head held high:rolleyes:
Wheras DS weight fell off as he got older he is now 6'5 and has a good job nice home and lovely GF. So Adam my darling ignore these little xxxxx (insert your own word here). You are worth TEN of them plus you are the product of a loving caring family. PLUS we all LOVE and ADORE you and Felicity. When you are a little older and you see what a waste of space these cxxxxins become you will have the last laugh.
DS advice is to find and stick with one true friend because one good friend is worth 20 shysters of as I would call them "fair weather friends".
)))))))))))))))))ADAM HUGS))))))))))))))) I would smother you in kisses but I know that at your age that is soooooooooo uncool:rotfl:

MOT dont worry about the useless article that calls himself a Father, he is not fit to lick your shoes his Son is a bully plain and simple and how dare he look down his nose at you. Let him walk a yard in your shoes. Also who knows what is around the corner, We none of us know what tmwr will bring. I for one home is smugness comes back and bites him sharply on his axxe:rotfl:
:j I have a persecution complex. Everytime I pass a shoe shop they persecute me till I buy them:j
  • I see the "your say" page is now up to 2 pages. We need to keep the pressure up. I still havent had a reply to any of my e-mails. Seems like I wll have to send my "disgusted of wales" e-mail to them!!!
