Looking for an insurer who doesn't use useless Cunnigham Lindsey

Had a nightmare with esure and their claims (mis)management company Cunningham Lindsey. Both are awful and I recommend keep these people out of your lives.
Looking for a new insurer - one which is not a broker and is responsible for their own insurance, so nothing white labelled or sold in name only. Also, they must NOT use CL for the sake of my sanity. Any recommendations?
Thanks

The issue is they may not use them this week but next week they start using them.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

LV don't use CL, and have products available direct or via Brokers.
However, as mentioned above, all insurers change suppliers, so this position may change once you've incepted!
Whilst you may have had issues with CL in the past, this isn't the way claims should be handled. As suggested in other posts, you should escalate a complaint to the insurer (CL work for the insurer, but your contract is with the insurer not CL). Don't be afraid to keep badgering the insurer and chasing on your complaint, as long as it is justified.
I empathise with your position and hope the claim is concluded well in the end!0 -
Just because CL are like that on one claim, doesn't mean they're like that on all claims. I've had plenty of experience with CL with mostly no issues.0

Ditto, but from the OP's perspective I'm sure they'd rather avoid and not run the risk again!0
