Flight Change

I've just found out that my return flight with Thomson on my holiday has been dramatically changed.
It was due to fly back from Tenerife at 19.20 this has now changed to 9am!! meaning we lose out on a whole day and now have to get up stupidly early.
Do I have any recourse to cancel and get a refund?
(From their website)
9.1.2 Before we accept your booking, we will notify you of the scheduled flight time in effect as of that time, and it will be shown on your Ticket. It is possible we may need to change the scheduled flight time subsequent to issuance of your Ticket. If you provide us with contact information, we will endeavour to notify you of any such changes. If, after you purchase your Ticket, we make a significant change to the scheduled flight time, which is not acceptable to you, and we are unable to book you on an alternate flight which is acceptable to you, you will be entitled to a refund in accordance with Article 10.2.

Is it a 'significant change'?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Is there anywhere in the T&Cs that defines significant change?
I have 12 hours in my head, but am not sure where I've got that from.
Is there a better flight you could ask to change to?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Major changes to your holiday
Occasionally, we have to make major changes to the flight or accommodation making up your holiday with us.
Major changes to your holiday for which we will pay compensation unless the change is for reasons beyond our control (see 'Important Note - Events Beyond Our Control'), using the scale shown, may include the following changes: a significant change of destination; a change in accommodation to that of a lower category, a change in the time of your departure or return flight by more than 12 hours, a change of UK departure airport (excluding changes between London airports, London, Ebbsfleet and Ashford stations and between Dover/Folkestone ports). A delay to your flight that we need to make within 24 hours before you are due to depart will not be considered a major change unless the delay is for more than 24 hours. These changes are only examples and there may be other significant changes which constitute major changes.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
I would be surprised if Thompson would class this as a 'significant change'. They are not cutting any nights from your accomodation, and you flight is still a day-time flight. Ive had delays lasting longer than 10 hours!
Use resolver and send them a straight-forward complaint. Something along the lines of "I am unhappy at the reduction in my hoiday time" and that you are unhappy about the reduction of time in the hotel booked. Suggest that the resolution you would like would be to cancel with a full refund. If this fails, work out how much you have paid for every hour of your holiday - multiply this by 10 (the reduction in holiday length) and suggest a full refund of this amount (explain how you got to it).0 -
We were able to change flights to a different return airport, but were given transfers and a seat upgrade so worked out all good in the end!0
