Problem with Dyson DC50 brush bar

11 months ago we bought a refurbished DC50 Animal direct from Dyson. We are now waiting for an Engineer to arrive to look at it for its 4th replacement brush head in the 11 months we have had it.
The black bristles which are the carbon ones keep wearing away, this head has lasted less than a month !
Has anybody else had this problem ? If so what did Dyson do to cure it ?
Many thanks
Colin
