    Massive selection and incredibly helpful
  • The OP said they were in Derby.

Unless you are aiming for high end, I'd go to B&Q or Wickes. Tend to be reasonably priced, do have sales, and if you look online (can get samples to help you decide) a reasonable range.

Oops, note to self, read the thread to end

Porcelanosa have a 40% off sale until 9th October. They have a 40% sale twice a year and it is a genuine 40% off (not one where they up the prices beforehand and then reduce them). Their tiles are still expensive even with 40% off compared to other retailers so it depends on your budget.

There seems to be about four tiles in the sale. :-/

It's better than my trade discount so I was interested.

There's a manufacturer called Saloni that make very similar tiles for less money.

I found tiles that Topps were selling for £36 a metre for £12 online. Same manufacturer, same everything.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I'll go online to www.wallsandfloors.co.uk or www.tonsoftiles.co.uk -you can get samples and it's usually cheaper than shops.

    .

No, everything is 40% off so they don't adjust the prices until you pay for it. That is what they did last year when we bought but you need to check.

Also, it you get a trade discount you should get more than 40% because we bought through a bathroom showroom and he gave us 40% off their normal prices, so he must have received an even bigger discount.

We're getting our bathroom tiles from porcelanosa in the 40% off. I cannot find a tile I come even close to liking as much as them so, stupidly expensive it is. I spoke to a lady in topps tiles that said she has never met anyone disappointed with porcelanosa tiles as they are top quality and most are unique to them so can't find them elsewhere but, in this case, you really are paying for quality.

Oh and it's 40% off everything in store till 9th Oct, so the kitchen I saw for £52,000 is now....still massively over budget :rotfl:

Porcelanosa is in Chilwell, Nottingham, next to the Chilwell Retail Park.

I've used Simply Tiles in Derby before - near Wickes, off London Road. They have a good range of tiles for different budgets.

They have showrooms all over the country. I was merely pointing out to OP that they are more expensive tiles than topps tiles, though topps are ridiculously expensive. The man who started the company is now exceedingly rich on the fact.

And I was merely answering the OPs question as to where the nearest Porcelanosa was to him/her, seeing as he asked.
