Pizz Express Gift Card and Tesco Vouchers??

Hi
We are in the process of moving house and as a result, skint.
I have moved roles at work and in my leaving card was a £40.00 Pizza Express Gift Card.
I also have about £20.00 in Clubcard vouchers which I could use for £80.00 P.E tokens. P.E don't let you use these for drinks payments.
Will they accept the Gift Card as payment for drinks? Cannot see why not as it was paid for with cold hard cash. Anyone done this?

Yes I do this every time we go to Pizza Express.
