Sliding door - fire rated and preferably glass?

Hi
I am performing a renovation on a property and I have a staircase which rises from the kitchen.
I'd like to enclose the stairwell to separate it from the kitchen, and to put in a sliding door for access.
I'd like it be be fire rated (as the stairs are in the kitchen) and also if possible for it to be glass to allow light into the stairwell too.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!

you can get them but I think you are going for the most expensive possible option here!
glazed fire rated doors are expensive and fire rated sliding door gear is expensive.(and to comply with clear opening areas you are going to need a big door)
The point in sliding doors is usually for a door that is likely to remain open most of the time, fire rated sliding gear has a self closing mechanism...
If I was you I would discuss what is going to be acceptable with your local authority building control officer - you get a bit more leeway with a conversion or renovation in terms of compliance but unless it's absolutely necessary the money would be better spend elsewhereThis is a system account and does not represent a real person.
