Youtube viedoes not playing-anyone else?

Hi,


With talktalk fibre, speed as normal.
Youtube videos not playing this past few hours or even to download apps from play store on tablets.


Google server problem or something else?

Play store works here .

Yep can load and browse play store ok but cant download an app on it.
Both tablets the same and as I say I can browse youtube but videos wont play.

Same model of tablet and same software revision ?

I'd reboot your tablet.

Thanks for replies, may well be a repeat of a problem that some talktalk users experienced last year,

Anyway I am willing to try different DNS settings in the Talktalk super router.


Does anyone have an idea of best way to go about it?

I've been having a lot of problems on Windows 7 with YouTube. Very often the video will only play for about 1/3rd of a second, no matter how many times I click "play".

I often have to refresh the page repeatedly until I see the grey bar progress (showing that the video is loading into cache).

Thanks, don't know whether you're with Talktalk as well, but anyway its a strange problem.


I'm on fibre and video usually starts quickly on youtube, strange thing is, it will play after a bit of buffering on windows 10 but not windows 7, likewise its possible to browse the Google play store but not download any apps on a nexus 7 tablet 2013 latest android version.


youtube was acting up for a few days last week as some comments on one of my videos disappeared, only to be reinstated a few days later.


I have tried open DNS to fix but no good.

No -- I'm with Sky on a BT line. Just a ~20Mb/s connection.
