My Very account has disappeared!

Hi,
Apologies if this is the wrong location for this thread.
I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this...
I have had an online credit account with Very for several years, I currently owe approximately £200 on the account; which I pay monthly. I went to check my account last week to make my monthly payment and there were no transactions showing, so I assumed it was a technical glitch and I'd try again in a few days.
I went to place an order a few days ago, I logged into my account as always say by typing in my email address, password and postcode and placed my order. However, it wouldn't allow the option of buy now pay later, as it said I do not have a credit account, I went through the credit account questions again and it was accepted and I placed my order. At this point I have a new customer account number. My credit limit is set back at £1500n I have no previous orders showing and all I owe on my account is the cost of the order I placed a few days ago.
So...what had happened to my old account? I tried logging in using my old customer account number but it doesn't appear to exist a day when they gave my new number the email stated "we notice you already have a Very account, so we've reopened that account instead" but again, a previous transactions are not being shown.
I've email Very and awaiting a reply. I have also tried calling but not managed to get through.

Hi
I think that only Very will be able to tell what’s going on with your old account. It’s worth checking your credit reference files to see how the account status is recorded.

Thank you. How do I check my credit reference files?
There are 3 main credit reference agencies in the UK, Experian, Equifax and Call Credit. You can get a £2 statutory copy of your credit report from each of them through their websites.
You can also check the Equifax information for free on www.clearscore.com , and the Call Credit information is free on www.noddle.co.uk.
