    Good grief! It was the first thing on the list! If they can't see that, then we're doomed..

    They employ minimum wage desk jockeys who are only trained to press certain buttons - which they get wrong.

    Go back and explain it is a byelaws issue and as such you expect it to be cancelled or a decision reserved. You'd expect it to be cancelled though.

  • A bit late now but a suitable 2000 character rebuttal was sent back the other day. NCP have already admitted that the PCN was issued in a "non POFA" car park and refer to the byelaws generally used, bless 'em, so I'm quite confident that this should be put to bed pretty soon. Equally we are way over the six month period requires to lay information at a magistrates court so that has tidied that end nicely too.

    Pay chess. Good idea.

    Under the DPA the PPC can only hold the personal data for as long as it required and no more. If they are processing byelaws tickets after 6 month (magistrates time limit) then it is arguable they have processed beyond the required limit.

    While you are waiting, why not raise a complaint with the ICO on that very issue.
