I set up a new folder on my local drive and copied it to my desktop google drive. It only has 1 document in it so far. I have since made minor amendments to the copy on the local drive but these aren't appearing on Google drive (desktop or cloud copy). What am I doing wrong please? I have checked the settings on the Google icon on the taskbar and can't see anything wrong there.

1. you need to copy the updated file to the Google drive on PC, before it will update in the cloud.
2. you need to be sure that the "Google Drive" software is running, either automatically (on boot), or by starting it manually
3. you must (of course) have a working internet connection.
-- if all 3 are OK, then please come back for more advice.0 -

Thanks. I will test it 1 more time when I get home. Yes Google Drive software was running. Yes I did have a working internet connection. However I thought that once I had copied a folder from local drive to Google Drive for the first time, all subsequent amendments would sync with Google Drive folder on the desktop automatically (and then sync with the cloud)0 -

Yes I can see that now. I have now copied the document over and the cloud version has updated.
Thanks for the help0
