Is it okay to post about articles, news stories found elsewhere, be they positive or negative?
Is it okay to post similar news every now and then?
The answer must be yes for people to make an informed decision.
If the answer is no surely you are in denial or guilty of wanting to hide the facts.
Remember, a lot of people are turning to this forum for help because they are unsure or just don't understand financial products, and don't read newspapers, where I get these articles from.
Thanks for your time.

If they're intelligent and genuinely useful, yes... if they're boringly repetitive from you, no0

YesA yes from me.
The threads end up in Debate House Prices and the Economy. The majority are surely more closely linked to Savings and Investments than they are to the economy.0 -

Hmmmmm..... I wonder which one he wants me to pick? I really don't want to read any more of the rubbish he posts but that must mean I'm in denial or guilty of wanting to hide the facts, musn't it?
And he's right, I certainly don't read the newspapers where he gets his articles from.
How selfless of him to provide such a valuable public service.0 -

I would vote no, on the basis that news items promoting Silver are expressly prohibited.0

NoNo, there are - as you say - other places to find news stories.
I see this forum as being about specific savings/investment questions that people have, or are looking for an answer to.
If, for example, the 'news' was the launch of a new savings account by a particular bank (and the information hadn't already been posted on here), fine. If the 'news' is about the economy more generally, absolutely not, there are other forums for that, as you have already discovered.0
