Removing washing machine in advance of replacement

Hi all,
Following on from a recent post and the advice I received I've ordered a new Bosch washing machine which will be delivered on Wednesday! (Far too exited about it!!)
In the meantime I listed the old washing machine on gumtree and someone would like to collect it tonight. I thought this was great as it would be out of the way in time for Wednesday but now I can't seem to find out if this is actually a problem if we don't have the new one to connect it to? Is it ok to just disconnect it and not have one until some point on Wednesday? If it makes a difference, the old machine is a hoover HNL7166 and the new one is a BOSCH Serie 4 WAN28080GB.
Another potential issue, we've discovered our stopcock is under the floorboards in the hallway. Will we need to access this to remove/replace the washing machine? Google seems to give conflicting advice so thought I'd ask here too
Sorry if this is a stupid question!

The washing machine will have an isolation valve. It should be ok providing it is not passing however if you want to be 100% sure get some blanking caps. Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0

In that picture the tap is on, with the handle at 90° to the pipe it is off. Of course it may just be like a tap or any other design depending how old the plumbing is.
The waste may be plumbed in under the sink, if so either blank it off or don't empty the sink until the new machine is plumbed in.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
I just got rid of my dishwasher the wife
I took it to tip as council wanted money for disposable and no rag and bone man got back to us on FB. I just as shown used isolation valve and disconnected the water inlet into machine you might get a little residue water from it though so have a tray handy

Hi all, -'other daft question! Just disconnecting the machine or but we don't know whether we keep the pipes or give them with the machine? Cant tell from currys website what comes with the machine and don't want to not have pipes..0

I am sure they come with pipes one cold water infill and another for waste water to go out. Page 29 shows this

Dont forget you usually have to remove some packing screws that use to transporting the machine
