well what is the source.
I think this is fake.0 -
It's entirely fake and been circling since late 1990's. It originates from a joke made on TV between presenters that, in theory, Bill Gates makes so much money every minute that for him to stop on the streets to pick up a 100$ bill would result in loss of profit. Guess we are up to 2000 quid bill now. Even at 100$, it was nonsense, as it was calculated by taking Microsoft's income (not to be confused with Bill's income) and dividing it by minutes in a year.0

Bill Gates, the world’s richest man, would still pick up a $100 bill

I am intrigued by stoozing but like the OP I also wonder if it is worth the hassle for £200 pa. I aim to do some more research for myself but I have a related question.
I have NatWest reward account and earn over £200 pa on an annual spend of £12k on the CC and £3k utilities on DD.
This seems to be an easier way to earn £200 pa than getting a zero % credit card or am I missing something?0 -

My stooz pot is currently at it's lowest ever level* at just over £30K. I've previously been up at around £70K. How much could you make on that?...assuming you haven't (between you?) got your own money in all the 5% and 3% accounts available?
* Laziness on my part as I have a £25K limit on an MBNA card which I'm keeping in case MBNA launch a fee-free deal (I'd then switch some limit across). It'd need to be a fee-free deal, as I have all the decent paying accounts full with my own cash, so I could only really make 1% less tax (unless I gambled it on some PBs)..0 -
Wow, £70k and fast stoozing! Sounds like premier league stuff and I'm only just looking at the junior divisions.0

Best to start in a manageable way while you get the hang of it all. Plus, the deals that used to be out there are not any more - I miss Egg and its fee free money transfers.
I have £52k on 0% cards but won't be looking to take any more on right now as I have all the 5% accounts, my mortgage is fully offset (and nearly clear now) and my S&S ISA limits have been used.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

£200 pa ?
For myself more like £2k last year0 -
seatbeltnoob, I think the point that you are missing is the difference between passive and active income. Your scenario of importing goods and selling them on ebay is active income, you are actively working to earn it. Stoozing is passive income (largely), like all investments. You put your money in and leave it to make more money. Stoozing is making you money while you are at work earning a regular wage. You can do the admin side of it sat in frony of the TV on an evening. If you sell stuff on ebay for a living your evenings will be spent getting parcels ready to ship!£0/£2017 extra income
£1070 credit card0 -
Personally I quite like the extra £5,000+ of income a year that I get from stoozing into P2P.0
