    Otherwise, it's your 170k engine that's died a death...

    Or more accurately.
It's my 170k engine that someone have executed.

Try reading the previous paragraph for some context to the first word you quoted.

Yes, you are right but even if I can't prove that their negligence was the cause, the engine was still killed prematurely as it was breathing very well before the operation.

From the third person view you might say then that the operation was successful and patient died.

And that's always the surgeon's negligence, is it? Or, just maybe, the patient needed the operation - but simply was too ill to survive it.

    I sympathise with the OP.
Any fule no that you don't mess with the PSA engine or it will bite you, so they should not have touched it with someone else's barge pole if it was actually running at 170,000, therefore they are negligent for even suggesting that an injector change was "a simple fix"

A bit like the aforementioned surgeon neglecting to mention the 5% survival rate of the operation the patient is agreeing to.....
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

I'm guessing they've used a bar against the heads casting as leverage
  • Regarding the "Good Garage Scheme". I had an issue with a local garage that had perfect reviews on that site yet it turned out everyone local slated the place.

A quick Google search told me that to be listed on their website you need to purchase additives from them and no bad reviews will ever be published.

for at least 100,000 miles, one of the injectors was leaking a little bit.

I'd say that was the problem right there.
