Hello all. Thank you for reading this thread.
What I would ideally like is any input you may have on how best to invest savings, any mortgage advice, or any other useful information. I will give my details below:
- I am single, no kids, male, 40 y/o, London-based;
- I generally earn about £35K-£40K per annum;
- £147K mortgage (0.75% above BoE base-rate for life. Mostly interest-only - £200 p/m approx);
- £375K house value. 2-bed in London;
- £45K in a Natwest savings account and a bit in an ISA from the sale of a BTL flat which I regrettably sold for no apparent reason two years ago after keeping it going through the recession... (Savings are making next to no money at all in this savings account and ISA);
- Started pension very late. Currently have £45K in an Aegon pension.
- No other debts or investments. No car.
Thanks.
