Partner not paying mortgage

Hi, Hoping for some advice! My partner and I were not married and he moved out of the home in June 2016. For the past 4 months I have been paying the mortgage even though the mortgage is in joint names. Can the bank automatically default the mortgage into my name if I contact them as I can prove I have made the payments…

The existing lender could offer a mortgage to our OP in a single name with negative equity.
