I had my update through the week - took a few hours so wasn't happy as I couldn't use my laptop at the time, however, I have only noticed that the sticky notes are bigger and nothing else???? So just leaving it as it is! :)

Do you use internet explorer or Edge

DH did the update on this PC for me the other day.
It was ok before the update, now it seems to really hate this site amongst others on IE. Having to rely on Chrome more, but some sites are easier to use on IE than Chrome.
It's all gone booby-doos up. Not impressed tbh.

    Try this.

Click on: Start - Settings - System - Default Apps

Scroll on the right until you see "Web Browser" which should be Microsoft Edge.

Click on "Microsoft Edge" and a box should open with all the browsers you have installed. If Edge is the only option then you have truly lost IE, but if Internet Explorer is still somewhere on you computer it should be one of the options - click on it to make it the default.

The latest upgrade has taken me to W10 Home version 1607 build 14393.187

I still have IE as an option, but I use Chrome 98% of the time.
  • I have I/E 11 working on the new update but as previously said, it is not working well. Can't do the mag dailies as the vids won't play. Do all those on Edge now & let the vids play while I do the clickies on I/E.

Was it def. I/E 11 that said it was incompatible? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

It certainly is compatible & Working OK-ish

Have IE11 running fine after the latest update.

If you cannot find where it is, to fire it up hold down the winkey and hit the R key and type iexplore in the box and hit enter and IE11 will fire up.

If you want what Microsoft call an inprivate session then type in the box

    iexplore -private

    and hit enter.

I have done that and all that is there is Edge, Chrome and Firefox looks as though it has departed.
