I have been rebuilding my credit rating for a wee while, by using a capital one, aqua and vanquis (declind for barclaycard initial at the time)
since these are the bottom rung of the credit card ladder, what is the next company/card i should go for that has a slightly better rate etc?

If you have 3 cards already and are building your rating then i would think that would be enough , what you must remember is more credit isnt always a good thing , you will have an amount of credit now and if that is X amount lenders might see your record as having enough credit for your score and income
How long have you been running the 3 cards ??
Most other cards are for people with a pretty good record there is only really BC and as you say youve been declined for that ... when was you declined ? if it was over 6 months ago you could apply to them again .0 -
was meaning , the risk cards have high intrest rates,
and that after a period of running well could move to a card that has a slightly less rate, then eventually being able to get a 0% deal somewhere0 -
you need to avoid paying interest by paying the full amount each month...0

Iknow what you was meaning but you need to be running the cards you have for a good while , thats why i asked you how long you'd had them , also is your credit report clear ?? the high interest cards will give you a card even if your record isnt great but the better cards are very strict , i have a completely clear record and still get turned down ... you need to be running the cards for proberly at least a year and proberley nearer 2 or 30
