Astute Finance

I has Astute Finance look into some loans and credit cards 8 in total to see about claiming ppi back. They basically had me to do the work which i've read is quite normal with these companies, but I haven't heard anything for some time (years). I googled the company and found they gone bust or stopped trading or something like that.
What do I do now?
Can I claim myself without knowing what Astute finance has done so far.

You don't claim PPI, you complain about it.

If the firm has had your files for months and not had any success then chances are you either didn't have PPI or they couldn't find anything to chuck mud at. If they did complain and the firms rejected the cases you'd be time barred anyway

Astute finance were taken over by a company called writefully yours in 2014 - have a google of their details. They are based in Adlington in Lancashire

Nb - I did use to work for astute finance so it is likely you had no successful claims but double check anyway. You may still be able to claim

As his complaint was with a claims firm I'd assume they would be pursuing every angle to try and get their pound of flesh
