Travel Insurance for Diabetes II sufferer

I am trying to sort out travel insurance for my wife who will be travelling to South Africa in a few weeks time.
She has type II diabetes, her sugar maintained by tablets and insulin
I first looked at this site and tried the two recommended companies.
Holiday Safe quoted initially about £39, but this jumped to about £70 with the diabetes.
leisure Guard Lite was also about £39, but needs a call to discuss the diabetes. My wife is at work tonight, sop that option will have to wait until tomorrow.
Doing a quick Google search brought up Diabetes UK and through their link a company AllClear quoted £54.
has anybody here used this company ...are they any good ?
Any other suggested companies would be appreciated too
thank you

I've used AllClear before, my partner has Type II Diabetes.
We never had to claim for anything though, which is usually where you find out if your have bought too cheaply. Last time we went abroad I used MoneySuperMarket.Com and went with a different company, but for no other reason than they were cheaper and also appeared ok.
Allclear's paperwork looked professional. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
Like tacpot, I also use AllClear and have done for the past 4 or 5 years. I'm type 1 though but their rates for me always seem to be very good. Never needed to claim but have read good things about them on some of the diabetic forums.0
