Thomas Cook changes flights to in-direct

Just a quick update. We accepted the connecting flights via PHL on the basis we'd get compensation of 330 and still keep our direct flight home.
Then we are told it is indurcet both ways and if we want a direct flight home there'll be 0 compensation.
We accepted under protest and have escalated it. I understand that there's unforseeable circumstances but to keep changing the goal posts like this is ridiculous. It's turning into a huge stress.0 -

there is no need for huge stress.you will get to your destination and get home again, all be it maybe a few hours extra travel...but £330 to compensate
I fly to the USA most years and nearly always have 2 connections by choice, can be a bit tiring but mostly works well0
