Tiling in a small bathroom

My question relates to having the wall along the full length of a bath tiled from the ceiling down to the bath in a very small bathroom.
I was wondering would you suggest that the bath be installed first and then the tiles affixed from ceiling down to the bath, or from bath up to ceiling?
Or alternatively, would the tiling be affixed first down to close to where the top of the bath will be, then the bath installed, then the tiles finished off to meet the bath?
If the bath is installed first, it would make things difficult with regards to getting to the top of the wall to begin tiling from the top of the wall down.

Ok, so just install the bath and work from the bath up.0

Yes i'd put the bath in first. But i wouldn't start the first row of tiles using the bath as your guide. Get your straight line 3 or 4 inches above the bath and come back to do the bottom row later. Similar when you're to the sides, don't start at the wall. Draw a centre line and begin there,Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

we tile first but leave the last layer above the bath off and tile from a batten.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

Don't forget to fill the bath with water before you start tiling. It simulates what happens in reality. If you don't, there is a tendency for the bath to pull away from the tiles when you use it.0
