I always do full to full, unless you drained the tank completely the only winner is the hire firm

After a no fault bump our insurer used a claims management firm to deal with our claim. It was a horrible experience. They wrote to us twice saying the third-party had denied liability, in one instance because they got the number plate wrong and wrote to the wrong person.

Anyway hire car going back, we filled it within two miles of our home as it was being collected, the hire company was less than three miles away, so a maximum of 5 miles. They charged us just under £10 for fuel.
