My capped Price Finishing Soon

Hi all, my capped Scottish Power deal is finishing at the end of the month. I have been using the comparison sites to find my next deal. They all point back to Scottish Power. I am a light user, & have been paying £54/month. Am owing a little under £50, to them, so I am expecting the price to co up a LITTLE! Everytime I ring to discuss my new tarrif, I am getting different quotes. The first one was a rise of £5. In retrospect, I should have bit his arm off. But in true moneysaver style, I continued haggling. I am now up to £75. When I ask to be put thru to the sales team, I go back to customer services, so I go round & round. Has anyone else found similar problems. Am thinking of trying EDF or B Gas

Hi Mech, what's the point of haggling, you may pay less per month, but take longer to pay orf your bills.
It's the tariff price plus and minus all the bits and pieces and discounts, whatever, divided by twelve.
Can't see you haggling down the unit price.

Hi i am in the same situation, comp sites advise to stay with SP, I tried to do this via Quidco to get some cashback but it [EMAIL="won'@t"]won't[/EMAIL] have it, can anyone advise if it will be possible to xfer via quidco to BG for gas and electric seprately to get £40 per switch and how long I will have to stay with BG before I xfer back to SP.
